Leny is the author of Babaylan: Filipinos and the Call of the Indigenous (2010); A Book of Her Own: Words and Images to Honor the Babaylan (2005); and Coming Full Circle: The Process of Decolonization Among Post-1965 Filipino Americans (2001). Her academic and community engagements focus on decolonization and indigenization as a path to the Sacred. What kind of ancestor are you going to be? is the question that guides her path.
